Octa-Core ALCATEL ONETOUCH Idol X+ To Launch In India On The 29th Of May

ALCATEL ONETOUCH is all geared up to launch its Idol X+ flagship handset in India. The handset packs some impressive hardware specifications and looks the part as well. The device will be introduced in partnership with Flipkart on the 29th of May.

Similar to the Moto G and E, the ALCATEL ONETOUCH Idol X+ will also be available online, exclusively via Flipkart. The Idol X+ was announced last year in December and was finally showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2014 in January. The handset sports a 5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) IPS display with 441 PPI and is powered by a 2 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 chipset with ARM Mali 450 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The phone comes with 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB thanks to a microSD card slot. In the camera department, there is a 13MP primary camera with an LED flash on the back and 2MP front-facing camera for all those selfies.

The device is powered by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and packs in a large 2500mAh battery to power it all. The ALCATEL ONETOUCH Idol X+ will be available in Black and White and pricing for the device will be announced on launch day.
