Nokia To Launch Android Phones Today In India

After all the wait, the launch date has been confirmed by HMD Global, though there is no affirmation regarding the price tags.

 

It seems like the wait is finally over, as the company which, now has the rights to market Nokia phones, HMD Global, is all set to launch the phones today in India.

At the event, the company will be launching Nokia’s latest Android smartphones that were globally unveiled at the Mobile World Conference (MWC) held in Barcelona in February — Nokia 6, 5, and 3.

To recall, a report that was published on Nokiapowerusers had claimed that Nokia 3, 5, and 6 could be priced around Rs 9,000, Rs 12,000, and Rs 15,000 respectively.

Also, going by the global unveil, it is worth once again recalling the technical specifications that these three smartphones bring with them.

The Nokia 6 features 5.5 inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, 16 MP rear camera, and 8 MP front facing shooter. On the other hand, the Nokia 5 comes with 5.3 inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, 13 MP rear camera, and 8 MP front facing camera.

Lastly, the Nokia 3, which is claimed to be an entry level smartphone, comes with a 5 inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, MediaTek MTK 6737 SoC, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, and 8 MP camera both at front and on the rear panel. And, all these three smartphones are said to be running on the latest Android Nougat 7.1.1.
