Huawei To Launch Honor 8 In India On Oct 12

The smartphone was launched in 3 variants in China, and we are not yet sure which variant will be unveiled here, in India.

 

Huawei seems to be all set to launch its smartphone, Honor 8 in India at a event in New Delhi, on Oct 12. Speaking about the smartphone, it was launched back in July in China while we all witnessed the TENAA certification listing as well.

Interestingly, the images that surfaced online in the TENAA listing seems to have turned out real, and the dual camera module on the rear is the big highlight of the smartphone.

Along with this, the smartphone  comes with premium metal design, fingerprint scanner, and the USB Type C Port for charging the device and connecting it on the go.

Speaking about the availability of different variants of the Honor 8, we expect to see the same three variants that were launched initially in China. And, on the pricing part, we expect the 3 GB / 32 GB variant to come around INR 20,000, while  the 4 GB / 32 GB variant may come around INR 23,000 and 4 GB / 64 GB model at INR 25,000.

However, speaking about the other specifications of the smartphone, we get a 5.2 inch FHD LTPS LCD display screen, while the smartphone comes powered by a 1.8 GHz Kirin 950 octa core processor.

On the camera end, the Honor 8 comes with two 12 MP rear cameras in the rear camera module, and an 8 MP front facing camera, and on the software end, the smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EMUI 4.1.

The Honor 8 comes with a 3,000 mAh battery and the display protected by 2.5D curved glasses both at front and back.
