Slowly, but surely Indian telecom companies have started rolling out 4G LTE service in India. Currently, it is available in parts of Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, and many other cities across the country. Expect it to go live in Mumbai and Delhi within a month.
While operators are readying the infrastructure for the next-gen network, are you geared-up for the change? If not, here are the 4G LTE handsets worth buying in India.

Nokia Lumia 638
Street Price: Rs 6700
The lumia 638 is basically a Lumia 630 with 4G LTE support and 1 GB RAM. It features a sporty design in a sturdy shell. The Lumia 638's 4.5-inch IPS screen has pixel dimensions of 480x854. The display features Gorilla Glass 3 and ClearBlack polarisation filter for better sunlight legibility. The phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 (quad-core) chipset. Apart from the 8 GB internal storage, the phone features a microSD card slot. There’s a 5 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 1830 mAh battery. Gaming is taken care of by the Adreno 405 GPU and 2 GB RAM. Despite its affordable price, Yureka comes with 16 GB internal storage with microSD card slot. Other features include a 13 megapixel camera, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and 2500 mAh battery. If you are looking for a powerful Android "phablet" under Rs 10,000, this 5.5-inch smartphones is the way to go. What we don't like here is the flash sale model.

HTC Desire 820q

If you prefer big phones like most Android fans do, the HTC Desire 820q is the way to go. it features a 5.5-inch HD screen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. HTC's latest SenseUI runs smooth on 1 GB RAM. And yes, it is eligible for the Android 5.0 update. If you run out of 16 GB internal storage, there's a microSD card slot. In the photography department, you get a 13 megapixel camera. To please the selfie fans, HTC has thrown-in an 8 front-facing snapper.

Touted as the affordable flagship, the Lumia 830 does offer great value. Thanks to its aluminium frame, the Lumia 830 is also the most premium looking handset in the list. It packs-in an excellent 10 megapixel PureView camera. The 5-inch HD IPS screen with a slightly curved screen features Gorilla Glass protection. The phone runs Windows Phone 8.1 (Denim update) out-of-the-box. The quad-core Snapdragon 400 chip assures pleasant smartphone experience.
LG G2 LTE (D802T)

The 4G variant of the LG G2 comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS screen. The 13 megapixel rear camera feature Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). With this addition, the G2 is the only Android handset to challenge the Lumia phones in low-light conditions. In terms of raw-power, it boasts of a quad-core Snapdragon 800 chip clocked at 2.26 GHz. The phone is upgradable to Android 4.4 Kitkat, and there's no reason why it should not get Lollipop in a month or two.
