OnePlus Moves To A Faster Snapdragon 801 For Its Upcoming Smartphone
After a long post praising the Snapdragon 800, the OnePlus team finally settles for the 801.

OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau, had recently discussed the ideal processor for its upcoming flagship, the One. In his blog post, he clearly specified that after a lot of testing, the company has decided to go with the Snapdragon 800 chipset. He also stated that anything else would be taking things to the extremes and that users would have to suffer the imbalance.
Well, looking at the latest teasers, it now seems that the company have moved on. The handset called the One will pack in the Snapdragon 801. Looks like the ‘Never Settle’ philosophy squished the theory of imbalance.
Owners of the upcoming One can now be assured that only the latest and greatest processor goes into their handset. Moreover, this brings the One on par with other upcoming flagships such as the Sony Xperia Z2, new HTC One, and the Oppo Find 7.
