HTC Desire 8's Details Emerge Prior Official Announcement
Taiwanese phone-maker's upcoming mid-range handset will flaunt a fresh design.

Chinese website MyDrivers.com has leaked press shots of HTC's upcoming handset identified as the Desire 8. Going by the images, it sports a fresh design sporting a plastic body, which points to HTC’s recently talked about mid-range handset strategy.
The plastic body and a trendy design indicates the handset is targeted at the youth. Plastic construction would also help HTC keep the price tag in check.
Rumoured to feature a 5.5 inch multi-touch display, the device also has a 13 megapixel camera with LED flash and 5 MP front-facing camera. Watching movies and listening to music would look and sound great thanks to the dual front speaker setup.
Another point that has been made really clear from the leaked image, is that HTC will be looking to incorporate the navigation bar into the screen in most future handsets, starting from the Desire 8. We hope that this handset gets unveiled at MWC since there haven’t been any fresh designs from struggling handset maker off late.
